As a student studying at university, university college or a folk high school education which is located in Kiruna we can offer you a student apartment.
At Runabacken, Skyttegatan 18 A, we have student apartments with one or two rooms with your own kitchen and bathroom. The apartments are rented without furniture.
How to apply for a student apartment?
To be accepted as a tenant for a student apartment you must confirm that you have been admitted to a study program for at least 15 credits per term at university, university college or a folk high school education which is located in Kiruna.
During your time for student accomodation Kirunabostäder have the right to ask for confirmation of your present studies for at least 15 credits per term.
You can rent a student apartment from the day you turn 18. Students retain their queue points in the apartment queue.
Termination of apartment lease
As a tenant you need to give notice of termination of your apartment as stated in your contract as soon as your studies are ending due to any reason. The notice of termination period is three months for apartments and one month for student apartments. You are not allowed to stay in a student apartment after ended studies.

In order to register, you must have a Swedish personal identity number. If you do not have a Swedish social security number, you can contact our customer service and we will register you.
